Nina Sabghir is a Midwife and Professor of Nursing living in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her first bikepacking trip in Colorado at 15 years old, riding a three-speed Huffy Sportsman and using a tarp for shelter. It poured. She bicycled solo from southern Germany through the Alsace-Lorraine to Luxembourg, and the Netherlands on a British-made Raleigh five-speed when she was 17. Her Bike Friday has taken her on travels in Japan and Hawaii as well as on regular commutes to work in Brooklyn. Nina volunteers at many bicycling and running events where nursing skills are in demand.
