Your support for Adventure Cycling is crucial. Our members are the spiritual, communal, and financial lifeblood of the organization. Your membership dues and donations are what make it possible for us to build and maintain route networks, create resources, build partnerships, and pilot new programs that are essential to our strategic plan. To create a more financially sustainable model for Adventure Cycling, we’ve launched new membership levels and benefits.

The new membership structure has differentiated levels to allow people at all points of life to become members, starting with an entry-level tier of $25, where members will get access to our trip planning resources, an exclusive member newsletter, partner discounts, discounts on our maps, and special Cyclosource gear sales. The higher levels provide additional benefits.

If you are already a member, your current membership level and benefits will stay the same until your renewal date, at which time you can renew at the tier most suited to your needs.

Membership Levels and Benefits

Adventure Cyclist Magazine

The biggest change involves Adventure Cyclist Magazine. With the rising costs of publishing and mailing, the magazine is moving to a quarterly schedule in 2025, and we have created membership levels that more fully reflect the true cost of the magazine. Digital Hub members will have full online access to the digital version of the magazine. Members in the Classic Adventure Cyclist and higher levels will both have digital access to the magazine and receive hard copies of our quarterly print magazine in their mailboxes.

We currently spend more money creating Adventure Cyclist than on our routes program. With this new approach to membership, we’re ensuring that your funds are supporting our nonprofit programs and growing their impact.

New Partner Discounts

• BikeInsure provides our members with opt-in, comprehensive, and easy-to-understand bicycle insurance.
• Store credit at The Feed: a one-stop shop for riders like you, where you can find all sports nutrition, recovery gear, and supplements to fuel your cycling adventures.
• Expert Voice gives Adventure Cycling members access to deep discounts from hundreds of leading brands. Sign up using the same email address you use for your Adventure Cycling account.
• We are building an incredible partnership with Ride with GPS. Adventure Cycling members receive a 20% discount when activating a new premium yearly subscription on Ride With GPS. Existing Ride With GPS Premium subscribers will receive an ongoing 10% discount.
• New Discounts from Ritchey, Big Agnes, and WTB

Classic Adventure Cyclist members and higher will be able to extend their Partner Discounts to other people in their household. (This replaces Family Memberships.) You can add household members to your account. Just sign in or make a new account if you have never had one or haven’t signed into your account since March 1, 2024. Use the Sign In button at the top of this page.

Other Changes

We are no longer offering two year memberships but we are working on a feature that auto-renews memberships at their end date. You won’t have to worry about renewing and you won’t receive a series of renewal notices, just one that lets you know autorenewal is coming up and will charge your card automatically.

We will also be offering the option to pay for a full yearly membership with monthly installments. You can select this option on the form when you join or renew as a member.

We will not be offering new Life Memberships. Life members have been incredible supporters of the organization and will continue to be for years to come. Current life members will continue to receive Adventure Cyclist Magazine but can opt for a digital subscription or donate separately to help us limit expenses and cover costs.
