Here’s your chance to sample one of the most popular sections of our heralded Great Divide Mountain Bike Route — with the benefit of indoor lodging and prepared meals!
We’ll travel from the northern reaches of expansive Flathead Lake (the largest freshwater lake in the West) and the lively resort town of Whitefish (located near Glacier National Park) to the southern end of the spectacular Swan Range, one of Montana’s less-visited topographic treasures. Our group will ride mostly on abandoned logging roads and some single-track, nestled against the high country of one of the world’s great wildland complexes. Along the way, we’ll encounter a variety of flora and fauna — huckleberries should be ripe for the picking and the sharp-eyed might even spot the occasional bear on a distant hillside.
We’ll layover in Seeley Lake, where we can opt to rent canoes and paddle the gentle Clearwater Canoe Trail or take a fun, unladen ride on some local single track. Back on our route, we’ll skirt the boundaries of the Bob Marshall and Scapegoat wilderness areas and crest the Continental Divide before dropping into Lincoln, where our shuttle will whisk us back to Whitefish.
