Heritage Cycling is working on routes to follow historic trails in TX
    These routes are on the map - http://www.texasheritagecycling.com
    This concept has been supported by recent legislation in the TX State Legislature.
    Routes such as the Chisolm Trail, historic Route 66, Comanche Trail, 
    Buffalo Soldier Trail, T&P Railroad, Southern Pacific Railroad, 
    Butterfield Stage Route, Goodnight-Loving Trail, Old San Antonio Road, 
    Nacogdoches Liberty Trace, Runaway Scrape, Old TX Highway 20, and the 
    Western Cattle Trail are proposed
