Forums

DISCUSS, COMMUNICATE, & LEARN
Our Forums are a platform where viewers can discuss trips, bounce ideas, chat about gear or transportation issues, and learn from other experienced bicycle travelers. Adventure Cycling membership is not required, but you'll still have to click the Join button to get a signed in.

Membership in our Forums is FREE. All we ask is that you provide a username, password and a valid email address.

We recently upgraded the forum software and hope that it adds to your experience. A couple of items to keep in mind if this is your first visit to the new fourms:

  1. User Accounts – on the previous forums you logged in by using your email and password. The new forums require your username and password. If you do not remember your username and/or password you can use the email address associated with your account to request your username and reset your password. The link to do this is available on the logon screen or you can give them this link:
    http://www.adventurecycling.org/forums/index.php?action=reminder
  2. Confirming Passwords – The first time you log into the new forums with an existing account from the old forum it will ask you to confirm your password. It is doing this so that it can encrypt your password in the database and it is a necessary step to using the new forums.
  3. Subscriptions - Both the old and new forums allow you to subscribe to topic threads. We currently have been unable to move previously subscribed threads over but are still looking into it.
  4. Profiles – There are a bunch of different ways that profiles can be customized so after logging in it is worthwhile to visit your profile page.
Check out the online forums right here. Go to our Forums Now.
